Castle closeup - Heidelberg is known for its fine university founded in 1386 and  still serving students today. Bob at lunch in the famous college pub Zum Roten Ochsen (the Red Ox) In the town of Ziegelhausen, we rehearse in the Katiliche Kirshe for Evensong service

The next morning, we enjoy breakfast before our second concert in Ladenburg. The brotchen is wonderful.

More fruit.  I truly enjoy German breakfasts.

The family service involved 84 children with a program about Abraham performed by the Sunday school. Delightful.

Home of Martin Luther who lived here for 3 years while in elementary school. He lived with Frau Cotter who took him in since she said he had the voice of an angel. Luther earned his school tuition by singing in the boy's choir.

In Erfort (which was in East German) we visited the Augustine Kloster
